Today we jumped back to 1990 with Shortman’s selection of Love Shack, but only after we were propelled - dancing and swing - to 1997 for the Blue Boy’s haunting Remember Me. The music bounced between Mark’s adventures at the Tax Office and Amy’s Bizarre news, where we learned about a man with two left feet and culminated a police officer who was saved by his badge. We saw the inaugural Dobson dream interpretation, where we tried to analyse why a woman would dream of having a hat made of a croissant. (This is hilarious…. Listen to this about 20 minutes into the second half of the show)
With a banging what’s on guide, plenty of banter, and why rugby players like wrecking golf carts (and trying to kill people with butter knifes), the Tuesday show have still - in the face of ice, highs of two degrees, and dark mornings - got it all going on.
