Mike Berry is a right-handed 31 year old overstayer from Napier, New Zealand. He has a Dutch wife and a mortgage and lists his greatest achievement as surfing in Scheveningen in March. Mike’s heroes include Jimmy McHardy, the one-armed drummer from Def Leppard, New Zealand left arm spinner Daniel Vettori and the guy who plays the double bass on the Albert Cuyp.
Anna is currently features editor for XM magazine in Amsterdam. Prior to that she was lifestyle editor on Time Out Dubai, specialising in shoes, handbags and camel-related souvenirs. Career highlights include Horticulture Week and Practical Caravan and that’s not forgetting her stint as sandwich maker (cream cheese and salmon) for UK chain Marks & Spencer. All in all she’s a one-stop-shop for all those camel/ gardening/ towing/ rodent needs and just can’t get enough of those 5am English Breakfast Radio starts.
DJ Anne Whitehouse
Born in darkest Nottingham, UK, Matt J Brown since stumbled flinchingly into Amsterdam, with just a guitar, suitcase and gimp mask. His journey into broadcasting has been blighted by several monumental faux pas, but within the remit of the English Breakfast Friday show finds himself liberated of all shackles and can now screw things up on air with little fear of reproach. Assisted by various people with more talent in their little finger than himself, Matt J Brown has no shame in utilising his unique presentation style that has long been hung out to dry like a lost glove on the fence post of life
